For more than a decade UWR has been based at the Telford Innovation Campus in Priorslee. With the University consolidating its estate, engineering is moving to Wolverhampton — to the former Springfield Brewery head office, which will be renovated as an engineering centre, with the rear extension replaced by a new workshop.
Plans were submitted in December 2025 and the new hub was reported to have received the go-ahead in February 2026. The Motorsport and Automotive Engineering degree now lists Springfield Campus as its home.
Note: confirm the date the UWR workshop itself relocates with the University.
